this is weird:) it looks interesting, however it's unfortunately absolutely unplayable and in the end it was just pain to play it. the story and the whole concept seems to be strange but original and I would love to see this game much better designed and polished. maybe next time.

Interesting visual design but very cluttered making it difficult to tell what was going on.
The actual gameplay was a bit of a letdown compared to the craziness of the presentation.
Audio missing entirely?

I was compelled more by the inspiration for this title than the game itself. The story behind why the game exists.
Initially, the bizarre world drew me in. I wanted to explore more. The mechanics are so clunky though that I found myself frustrated in the very first level.
I believe this game could eventually evolve into something interesting but the mechanics need a complete reboot. Keep the theme and the insane sensibilities intact, just build a better game surrounding them.

vasily zotov, you are a mad genius. this game is the product of someone not entirely in command of the tools he is using, and that just underlines the raw creative energy that this game exudes, in addition to making it that much more compelling an experience. it's both a testament to your dedication to simple CREATION and entirely appropriate to a game like space spy that so much chaos and uncertainty be an intrisic part of its construction. it's also a thrilling contrast to the blandness and sameyness of so many of the other entrants.
you're the tonic the igf needs, and i hope you find your audience.

On one hand, a glorious experience of madness. As an indie experience, very innovative use of 1990's "cool" graphics with too many colors and shades. Text is great.
I am, however, not that big a fan of the core gameplay. It's fun that the game tells you exactly what you need to do. But is that interesting? I am not so sure.

As I see it, there are two problems with this game.
The first problem is that it's completely inaccessible to anyone but the author. Either there is no internal logic, or only he can understand it.
The second problem is that it's less of a game, and more of a narrative about the author's personal experiences. It's impossible to play the game without first reading the instructions. Playing the game after reading the instructions simply consists of following directions and watching what happens. It's an interactive movie more than a game.
The visuals are the strongest part of this game, simply due to their interesting style. From a technical perspective they are not good; most of the 3D modelling is primitive, and the animations are of low quality. But the overall effect is striking.
Overall, this was an interesting experience. However, I have a hard time recommending it as a fun game. Perhaps if the author found someone to help him moderate his art in such a way that the rest of us could appreciate it better, he would be able to make something really interesting.
